Meet the Teacher
My Role: I am very excited to be back teaching Grade 5B at St. John Bosco for the 2024-2025 school year!
This is my sixth year as an educator in Edmonton Catholic Schools. I feel truly blessed with this amazing opportunity to share and serve in the SJB school community.
My Education: I graduated from Archbishop O’Leary High School and completed an Elementary Education Degree at the University of Alberta. My goal is to continue to learn and grow with my students, as well as, challenge myself to continue to grow professionally.
My Teaching Experiences: I have a number of teaching experiences. I started my career teaching Grade 5 at St. Francis of Assisi school and then taught three years with Genesis Online in Grades 1 and 5. Last year I joined the SJB family and worked in all of the Grade 5 classrooms. I also did practicums at St. Edmund’s IB School Program and St. Philip, as well as, being a substitute teacher in ECSD, teaching anything from Kindergarten to Grade 9. All of these experiences have taught me so much about what it means to serve a school community and love what you do in the process. I strive to do my personal best this year in learning and growing with my students and staff. I am inspired by my students to serve their needs and offer support on their own learning journeys.

Outside of School:
When I am not at work, I am often out on walk with my dog. My husband and my dog Leo make up my little family and bring joy to my life. I like to destress by reading many great books as well as baking and playing sports.
